President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Alexander Rusnak, head of the counterintelligence department of the Security Service of Ukraine. This is stated in the relevant decree.
Rusnak has headed the counterintelligence department of the SBU since September 2019.
At the same time, the reasons for such a decision on the part of the head of state are not disclosed.
Recall that on November 26, Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that a coup d'etat was being prepared in the country on December 1-2. At the same time, businessman Rinat Akhmetov was allegedly involved in such an action.
On November 29, the SBU opened a criminal case on preparation of the seizure of power in Ukraine.
