The State Department ordered the evacuation of family members of US government employees from Belarus due to “Russian military activity” .
“The US Department of State has ordered family members of US government employees located in Belarus to leave the country immediately,” the department said in a statement.
It is specified that such actions were taken against the backdrop of “unusual and worrying military activity” by Russia on the border with Ukraine. Americans in Belarus should understand that the situation in the region is “unpredictable.”
Let us recall that Western countries and Kiev have recently expressed concern about the alleged increase in “aggressive actions” by the Russian Federation near borders of Ukraine. Russia denied such accusations and noted that it was not going to attack anyone.
