The village of Tyotkino in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region was again shelled by Ukraine, the region's governor Roman Starovoit said on Telegram.

According to him, during the morning mortar attack, the authorities recorded more than 20 arrivals of shells. Several houses were damaged, but there were no casualties among civilians.

Glushkovsky district is located on the border with the Sumy region of Ukraine. On July 1, the head of the region reported that several residential buildings were damaged in Tyotkino due to falling shell fragments. Two days later, he reported shelling in a village near a sugar factory, adding that the Russian military “suppressed the enemy's attack with return fire.” On July 15, according to Starovoit, the border village of Dronovka was subjected to mortar fire from Ukraine: residential buildings, a school, a first-aid post, a cultural center, a village council and a local shop were damaged.
