“The goal is to deprive the General Staff of Ukraine of the ability to control the troops”
Judging by the first hours of the Russian military special operation in the Donbass, it is already clear that the bloody tank operation and the bombing of peaceful cities, which the president predicted US Biden, will not. Residents of Ukraine on the Web report that they are only watching how rockets fly over their heads with a slight whistle, leaving a trail in the sky. This military tactic was explained to MK by a military expert, editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine Igor Korotchenko.

– The purpose of the next hours of the military operation, – the expert explained, – is to deprive the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the possibility of centralized command and control of troops, disable the Ukrainian airfield network, destroy positions of air defense and operational-tactical missiles. Accordingly, in the performance of the assigned tasks, high-precision weapons are used that allow the targeted destruction of designated targets, which excludes damage to the civilian population of Ukraine and excludes any negative damaging effect on civilian infrastructure. The Russian armed forces do not attack Ukrainian cities and towns. We are talking exclusively about the targeted destruction of military infrastructure.
