The American edition of The National Interest published an article in which it recommended that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “seek a place in exile.”
The publication believes that the Ukrainian elites will be eliminated, following the example of how the Soviet Union acted in the countries Eastern Europe after World War II. The author of the article did not rule out that there would be a new president in Ukraine and even admitted that Viktor Yanukovych would again.
“The current Ukrainian government, headed by President Volodymyr Zelensky, will most likely have to look for a place for a “government in exile,” the material notes.
At the same time, NI writes that it is very it will be difficult to find a place from which Zelensky can maintain “armed resistance.” According to the publication, even Poland and Lithuania will not be enthusiastic about this prospect.
