The Walt Disney Company will suspend the release and distribution of all of its films in Russian cinemas due to Russia's operation in Ukraine, the company said in a statement.
“Due to the unprovoked invasion of Ukraine and the humanitarian crisis we are suspending the release of films in Russia, including [cartoon] “I'm blushing”; from Pixar»,— the company said in a statement. Premiere of the cartoon “I'm blushing” in Russia was scheduled for March 10.
The company promised to make a decision on the resumption of rental in the future, depending on the situation. Disney also said that given the scale of the migrant crisis that erupted due to the war, the company is working with NGOs to help refugees.
